There are a number of improvements in the underlying engine of the web site, which allow better image processing. In particular you can not upload bigger images - up to 10M pixels (e.g. 3200x3200). However the file size must not exceed 2Mb. There is also an option to set custom thumbnails for item images. Previously thumbnails were created automatically by the server, but this caused sometimes distorted and non-understandable thumbnail images to appear.

Starting June'2008 there is a new hosting platform for MiracleOfArt.com. It allows much faster access from all around the world and better content management capabilities. In particular this means that members will not be restricted also in the future on the number of uploaded items. The database speed and site uptime also improved in a positive way.

There are new layouts for the item presentation page and member portfolio page. Member's portfolio page now includes a featured image, which can be uploaded from within member's identification data page. Registered members can now post comments directly to the portfolio page of a certain member. The number of portfolio page viewings is now included in the member's quick facts data.

Starting from March 2008 a new mailing service is available on MiracleOfArt.com, which allows members to be informed via email about certain site events. Activity of the mailing bot can be controlled from the new member settings page.

Members of MiracleOfArt.com can now define their own layout of the site start page. In the new members "Settings" pane various layout options are available such as switching cerain parts on/off, display them on the lieft or right pane, specify how many items to display etc.

The layout for the start page and galleries page has been improved. The info pane near to each item has been removed. The information for the item appears on the hint for the corresponding thumbnail image. Now there are more items to see instead of repeating information. It is planned that the layout can be customized from the member's settings panel.

Three additional hyperlinks are included in member's summary page.
If you click on "Comments posted" link, you will see all comments to other members items, posted by the selected member. In addition you can sort the resulting table by item and by item owner.
If you click on "Comments received" link, you will see all comments received by this member from other members.
The hyperlink "Forum messages posted" will lead you to the forum page, but the left pane will only include forum messages, posted by the member.

The start page of the forum now includes two panes. In the left pane recent forum messages are displayed regardless of the topic and thread. You can navigate through all messages in the forum by clicking on the "Goto page" links, or type a concrete message number and click "Jump". The right pane displays the hierarchically organized forum topics.

Since 27 Nov 2007 there is a search engine available at MiracleOfArt.com. The content of item descriptions and forum messages is collected in an optimized index storage and is available for quick search in the site header. In addition each keyword associated with an item is displayed near to the item description in the item browse page. It contains a hyperlink, which leads to a next search for the corresponding keyword. Thus a chain of related searches can be performed, which produces a potentially unlimited number of sections for the site content. The same option is available within the search results of each individual search operation.

Since 21 November 2007 there is a mail service for registered members of MiracleOfArt.com. Members can send private messages to each other and browse, sort, filter, delete or reply to messages. When a member opens the website and he has unread mail messages, an icon appears near to his nickname, which leads to his inbox. Someone can access his site mail by clicking "Members area" and then choose "Inbox" or "Outbox".

Start November 2007 there is a forum in MiracleOfArt.com where members can discuss themes of public interest. Forum messages are organized into a hierarchy of topics, which are maintained by site moderators. Members of the site can create forum threads and maintain the discussion within owned threads.

Start October 2007 the registration system has been improved. Now member's password is not stored in the site database. Instead of this it is used as a key to unlock member's account data. Thus, password theft at server side is not possible. In case someone forets his password, a random password will be generated and sent to his identification email.

Since Oct 2007 a messaging system is available in MiracleOfArt.com, which allows users to post comments to their artwork items. Each user can send unlimited number of messages to any item in the site including his own items.

MiracleOfArt.com starts on October 15th 2007 and will be in a beta test phase until end of November 2007. During this period everyone who registers in the site and upload artwork will receive a "unlimited user" status for the next year.
